CodyNick at the 4th Oman Science Festival 2024

Engaging Young Minds Through Interactive Tech Experiences

In November 2024, CodyNick participated in the 4th Oman Science Festival, held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat. Organized by the Ministry of Education, the festival featured over 520 diverse activities, including workshops, scientific plays, competitions, and interactive exhibitions, aiming to make science accessible and engaging for all age groups.

Showcasing Interactive Projects

At our booth, children and families explored hands-on projects that introduced them to the fundamentals of coding, electronics, and robotics. Highlights included:

Smart Home Systems: Demonstrations of sensor-based lighting and security features, allowing children to understand how technology can enhance daily living.

Obstacle-Avoiding Smart Cars: Interactive sessions where participants learned how distance sensors and simple algorithms enable vehicles to detect and respond to their environment.

These activities provided a platform for young learners to engage with real-world applications of STEM concepts in a fun and educational setting

Engaging with the Educational Community

The festival also provided an opportunity for CodyNick to connect with educators, school administrators, and fellow educational organizations. Through these interactions, we discussed potential collaborations and shared our commitment to fostering innovation and creativity in education.
