On Thursday, May 8, CodyNick hosted its first official event in Muscat, Oman, in collaboration with National InstaChai. This 3-hour open-format event welcomed children and parents alike to explore hands-on activities in coding, electronics, and robotics.
Participants could freely choose between three experience stations:
Coding with Gadgets – using CodyNick’s smart sensors and blocks to build real-time applications
Creative Construction – a maker-style space for designing functional structures
Intro to Robotics – with Edison robots, especially tailored for young learners under the age of 6
Children and teens had the opportunity to try small projects, including:
A smart home prototype with motion sensors and alarms
A distance-detecting smart car that triggers alerts when getting close to obstacles
While the kids were busy creating and coding, parents learned more about CodyNick’s educational philosophy, tools, and future offerings in Oman. The event was designed not only for play and exploration but also as an introduction to CodyNick's STEAM-based approach in tech education.
This event marked the beginning of CodyNick’s journey in Muscat—a first step in bringing creative, tech-based learning to more families across the capital.
